Bennett's Nursery

Okay, so here is Bennett's nursery! Now only 4 more days and Bennett will be here to see it for himself! I wish I could take some credit for the nursery, but I really can't. Mary, once again, came up with all the creative ideas for Bennett's room. I just agreed and said okay! Devon, my sweet friend, made all of Bennett's bedding and did a wonderful job. I'm excited with the way everything turned out. I hope you guys like it too!

Daddy, Momma and Drew love you so much baby Bennett. We are praying hard for a safe and healthy arrival on Feb. 2nd. We can't wait to hold you and look at you! I hope you can handle your big sister because as you will quickly find out she likes to run the household or at least thinks she does! Or maybe I should be saying can she handle you??? See you soon sweet baby.

Rachel made the giraffe canvas on top to put all Bennett's stats on when he arrives. We will take that to the hospital with us. She also gave me the frame on the bottom to put a picture of Drew meeting Bennett. Isn't she sweet?!

Anna's brother and sister in law who live in Springdale handmade this beautiful frame for me.

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way...

Bennett Update and Bathrooms

Only 12 more days before Bennett makes his debut! We have a scheduled C-Section on Feb. 2nd at 7:30am (Drew ended up being a c-section, so we will do another with Bennett). I am still feeling pretty good. I have been having some mild contractions here and there, but nothing consistent. I don't expect him to come early. I hope to get some pictures up of his nursery in the next few days. I have a couple of things I want to get hung on the walls before I post pictures. We are excited to meet Bennett and to see Drew's reaction. Also praying for a safe, healthy delivery and arrival.

I wanted to put some pictures up of the fun painting we had done in some of the bathrooms. Mary (my friend who helped me decorate the new house when we moved) and her son Ross did some custom painting and it turned out really fun! Ross gets all the credit for the zebra bathroom... he worked very hard and I must say it turned out pretty cool! Hope you enjoy!

Max and Ruby

I don't know if any of your kids watch the cartoon Max & Ruby on NickJr., but we do and to say that Drew loves it is an understatement. I on the other hand, find it extremely boring and I really don't get why she likes it so much?! I mean she will sit and watch it and I will hear her cracking up at stuff they do and talking back to the TV... she could watch it for hours...literally.

The ironic thing is the other day when I was at the gym, I was changing the channel of my treadmill's TV and flipped past Max & Ruby and found that I slowed down and thought "ooo, Max and Ruby is on", then quickly snapped out of it and changed the channel. And of course glanced side to side to make sure no one saw that I had watched Nickelodeon for a minute!

I'm thinking that Drew may love the show so much because she is secretly plotting how Bennett's future will be (if you know the plot of the show it is a neverending story of Ruby bossing Max)! I can hear the theme song in my head...Bennett and Drewbie..ha!!

P.S. where are Max and Ruby's parents???

R.I.P

Viewer Discretion Advised
Disturbing Images below ;)

Drew's prized Christmas present barely made it a week... Brandan cleaned the water and the following pictures are what we found the next morning. Lil' fishie had met his watery grave. I kept telling Drew that "I didn't think the fish felt good anymore, he's not moving very much"... you know just to try and ease her into the fact that he had "bit the dust". She never really seemed to care. So, it finally came to the point that we needed to dispose of him and I had to tell her like it was..."The fish went to see Jesus." Well, as you can see from the pictures Drew wasn't exactly torn up about it.

The Floater

Drew thought this was great... so cool that the fish was in the toilet

Yes... she is actually jumping and cracking a smile when we flushed the fish... something is wrong with my child! Needless to say we will not be buying another fish.

Happy New Year

Ringing in 2010 was very uneventful for us. Brandan had to work until about 7:30, so we had some take out and he, Drew and I enjoyed a little New Year's Eve dinner together. I was asleep before midnight, I think Brandan may have stayed up and watched the ball drop. New Year's Day we went to my mom and dad's lake house, had a late lunch and the girls played a while. I know... the excitement is endless!!
2010 should be an interesting year with the new little boys around the house!

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -Jeremiah 29:11
