Saturday Funday

Today was such a fun play day! Drew and I invited Brooke, Max, Anna and Evie over for some lunch and playing. We enjoyed McCallister's Deli at the house, all the kids ate their lunch which is rare, played inside some and then went outside for a while. They all played really well together and it was nice and relaxing for the moms. After Max went home we took Drew and Evie over to our wonderful neighbor's house and played in the water! Drew and Evie had a blast, we absolutely love our sweet neighbors. It is really nice to have lots of friends in the neighborhood to spend time with. Although we had expected rain today, it ended up being a really nice day! Here are some pics from our Saturday Funday!

The other night Brandan rented the movie Marley and Me. He and Drew sat down to watch the movie and Drew absolutely fell in love with Marley. She sat and watched it for 45min. with him (that is a long time for a 2yr. old!!). She would laugh outloud and say things like, "Marwee make a mess" or "Marwee siwee (silly)". It was so funny to see how much she was into the movie. She has wanted to watch it each evening since he rented it. I took some pictures of her watching Marley and Me, if you notice she moved around the room some, but her eyes never left the TV screen.

My Friend Daddy

The past couple of evenings Drew has looked at me and said, " Where my friend Daddy go?" I tell her he is at work and he will be home soon. "Okay" she says, and then a few minutes later..."Where my friend Daddy go?" It is the sweetest thing to hear her say. She loves her daddy so much and so do I... he's a keeper.

Happy 2nd Birthday Drew!!

Drew turned two on May 3. We had planned to have her party in our backyard, grilling out, eating cake, and all that fun birthday stuff. But,that just happened to be the weekend that all of this never ending rain started. So we moved to "plan b" and had her party in her Lolly's gym. We rented an inflatable with a slide, jumping area and basketball hoop. We ate pizza, cupcakes and drank Drew's favorite beverage "Bug Juice". It was alot of fun and the kids had a blast. Two years has flown by and Drew changes what seems like everyday. It is amazing to me how time can go by so fast...you blink and months have gone by. Our pastor on Sunday said, "You can make more money, but you can't make more time." So, I encourage everyone (including myself) to make the most of each moment and don't sweat the small stuff!

I vote Kris Allen

I love watching American Idol each week and am a big Kris Allen fan. When I found out that he was coming to the river front in Little Rock I was so excited! We suited up the girls in Kris Allen shirts, courtesy of Rachel, and made the trip Friday morning to hear Kris. It was so much fun, he sounded awesome live and the girls were too cute!
