Christmas Highlights

We had a wonderful Christmas. Very busy, but great just the same. I decided to put several pictures of our holiday in this post. I hope everyone had a blessed time with family and took a little time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas... Thank you God for sending your Son Jesus!
"...news of joy that will be for all people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord."
-Luke 2:10-11

I had to put this one first just because I thought it was so cute :)

Christmas Party at Gymnastics

My dad's family's Christmas was celebrated on Tuesday at my cousin's house... Drew waiting to play with some of Grant's toys in his room

Drew and Evie each got a Barbie... Evie's has brown hair and Drew's blonde :)

Christmas morning... Santa brought Drew exactly what she had asked for a million times... A FISH!!!!

Having a "little tea" (from her new tea set) with her new baby... the expression is hilarious

Christmas Lights at the Courthouse

We took the girls to see the lights at the Benton Courthouse the other night. The girls had a lot of fun and I must say, I was pretty impressed with the display. I mean it is no Fayetteville Square, but really fun all the same. We really enjoyed ourselves!

This picture is really funny to me... It looks like they are both thinking, "So should we take it and run or what??!"

Happy Birthday Jesus

Saturday Honey (my mom) wanted to spend a little time with the girls baking. They were baking cookies and a cake for Jesus' birthday this week. I tried to upload some video of the fun, but couldn't get it to work... the pictures don't do justice to how funny Drew and Evie were. They had so many cute conversations going on between each other! There was a lot of sugar consumed that day, but it was well worth the memories!

This is Jesus' birthday cake... it was actually supposed to spell out Happy Birthday Jesus, but Drew and Evie decided that the letters needed to be placed randomly instead

The cookies... the ones that are overloaded with sprinkles belong to Drew and Evie

The result of a mouthful of sprinkles

Evie and Drew decided they needed to lick the cake... notice the evidence on Evie's chin

The dark "blob" to the left is me... so, yes, Michael did have some supervision

Come and Get It, Reindeer!

Sprinkle on the lawn at night
The moon will make it sparkle bright
Santa's reindeer fly and roam
This will guide them to your home

Drew came home from Mother's Day Out today with some reindeer food (dry oatmeal and glitter). Of course we had to go straight home and sprinkle some out in the back yard. Since we were a little early for Santa and his reindeer we didn't sprinkle the entire bag. We will save the rest for Christmas Eve. As soon as Drew threw it on the grass she immediately thought the reindeer were going to come :)

Drew looking up in the sky and yelling, "Come on reindeer!"

Drew's new thing to do for the camera..."fake smile"... I'll take what I can get. At least she will let me take her picture!

Bennett's Baby Shower

Last Saturday my sweet friends hosted a baby shower for Bennett. Everything was wonderful and we got lots of great stuff! It is so fun getting all of the little boy things after getting so used to "pink and bows"!! Thanks to everyone for thinking of us during this exciting time!
