Max and Ruby

I don't know if any of your kids watch the cartoon Max & Ruby on NickJr., but we do and to say that Drew loves it is an understatement. I on the other hand, find it extremely boring and I really don't get why she likes it so much?! I mean she will sit and watch it and I will hear her cracking up at stuff they do and talking back to the TV... she could watch it for hours...literally.

The ironic thing is the other day when I was at the gym, I was changing the channel of my treadmill's TV and flipped past Max & Ruby and found that I slowed down and thought "ooo, Max and Ruby is on", then quickly snapped out of it and changed the channel. And of course glanced side to side to make sure no one saw that I had watched Nickelodeon for a minute!

I'm thinking that Drew may love the show so much because she is secretly plotting how Bennett's future will be (if you know the plot of the show it is a neverending story of Ruby bossing Max)! I can hear the theme song in my head...Bennett and Drewbie..ha!!

P.S. where are Max and Ruby's parents???

  2. OH my Max and Ruby drive me bonkers. I hate how bossy Ruby is. Colson likes it though, so it is on at our house too. Colson tells me that Ruby is Max mom. I have to remind him of the theme song! During the day, I always look to see whats on Nick and Disney. Its such a mom thing!

  4. That's hilarious. Little man is OBSESSED with Ruby and Max (that's how he says it). Child protective services will have to step in soon if those parents don't show up!

  5. This is my absolute least favorite show on Nick Jr.-fortunately, William doesn't care for it either :) I don't think he appreciates the way Ruby treats Max. I know, I've wondered about the parents, too. Although, Grandma is just down the street in case of emergency...
